When will my order ship?

We’ll start assembling your order as soon as you subscribe, and we will ship it within 10 business days. Monthly renewals are on the 15th of each month and will ship on or before the 5th of the following. month. You will get a tracking number via e-mail every time your books are sent out.

How can I make changes to my subscription?

To change your selected genres, please select the “Help” tab located on the main menu of our website. Let us know the changes you want to make and we will handle them!  For other changes, there is an option on your monthly invoice to pause your subscription at any time. If you have any trouble or would like to provide feedback on your subscription, please e-mail us support@bookssubscription.com

If I give a gift, when will the recipient get the gift message?

Your custom gift message will be printed on the packing slip that ships with the recipient’s books.  You will be e-mailed once the first order is shipped with the tracking number.  We won’t spoil your surprise!

What if I don't like the books I receive?

We do our professional best to curate the best mix of books in each shipment for the selected genres.  The process is random by nature because we never know exactly which books we will have in stock or exactly which books you prefer.  This fulfillment method is what keeps our service affordable and adds to the element of surprise.  Unfortunately, sometimes it means that a subscriber ends up disappointed with our selections.  If this is the case, we want to hear from you so we can try to make it right.  We truly want you to be happy with our service!  

Just giving a genre doesn't seem specific enough for my interests. How can I give your more information about what I like to read?

Our 2 and 4 book subscriptions allow for more information to be provided so you can be specific about your reading preferences.  Our 1 book subscription is priced and designed for fast curation, and cannot be customized beyond genre choice.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time by logging in to your account on this website. Please do not send cancellation requests to us via e-mail. 

I cancelled my subscription, so why am I still receiving books?

First, please make sure that you have cancelled your subscription.  Please note that we do not process cancellation requests via e-mail.  If your account shows cancelled, but you still receive an order, it is because we owed a shipment to you.  Typically this is because your account was a prepaid order for 3, 6, or 12 months.  It will not renew if cancelled.
